If truth is stranger then fiction then by the year 3,000 when aliens are encountered they will look better then us. Aliens have always been portrayed as looking the same or worse then we do. Why is that? I would rather imagine them looking super hot and sexy.

In the year 3,000 Spell Check functions will include much more then checking spelling. They will also check & correct punctuation and do other things.

Hopefully not nag. Spell checkers do need to make sure people are using the correct words in a sentence, though. Maybe someone can combine them with dictionaries, thesauruses and encyclopedias. They could also do it much sooner than the year 3000.
As for the sexy aliens, wouldn't it be easier for them to subjugate the whole Earth?
Ah, I have another prediction. In the year 3000, the human race will be part sexy alien and everyone will be very good dancers.

GREAT prediction Sherlew I feel like dancing, dance the night away! ;D In the year 3,000 the earth will have no moon. It will have drifted off to become its own planet or planetoid in the kiber belt or maybe it will collide with Jupiter and give it the rest of what it needs to become a star (our 2nd Sun). Everyone thinks that the moon has always been the same as it is but it hasn't. I seen a show about it once and they said that in the time of the dinosaurs the moon took up 1/4 of the sky. Think of what that meant as far as night goes and tides. The moon has been moving further away.

I doubt that the moon would have moved that far away. We would defiantly miss it since action of the moon's orbit helps regulate our seasons.

In the year 3000 the city buses in this country will resemble the buses that we see in movies that take place in central and south America and other countries. They will have luggage racks on top and also carry luggage underneath like greyhound buses do. In stead of luggage it will be for groceries and those giant strollers.

In the year 3000 the playing field for imposing fines & penalties will be much more level then it is now. Individuals can make citizens arrest. Individuals can kill each other via justifiable homicide. The government & busnesses impose fines & penalties like crazy but currently individuals don't at all. I think that its long passed time for that to change.

In the year 3,000, I will be long gone back into mother Earth...either that or my brain will be placed in a metal suit and I will try to take over the world.
