Although older versions of Internet Explorer do not come with their own spellchecker, you can download plugins such as Speckie and ieSpell. SpeckieieSpellIE 10 has a built-in spellchecker as well.

This site has all kinds of ways it could be coustomized are you sure that a spell checker isn't an option that you or Tom could add?

I would actually recommend using Firefox PD. It has a great built in spell check program and in my personal opinion does a good job elsewhere as well.
There is also Chrome which I would rate second above IE and I would imagine has a spell check too.

Seems like something on your end then possibly...
Did you try that support forum I posted?
The two issues could be related.

I just tried the spell check myself (duh!)and got an error message. The plug in list has a comments section and I will make a note of it to the plug in developer and see what happens. If not, I will remove it and try to find another one n the future. However, in the meantime I do suggest moving to a browser like Firefox or Chrome, even on your old tower as they have spell check built into them.

Guess it'll take a bit longer to get the thing to work, drat. I hope Tom can get it sorted soon.
