I don't know about the end of the world but I'm pretty sure the end of mankind will be bought about via the proliferation of idiots. If you go back in time not very far at all being and idiot was much more likely to get you killed. Now a days not only is there all kinds of safety stuff to protect them but there are other things that allow them to have jobs they should not. Are you thinking about Bush when you are reading this, because I can't stop myself from thinking about him as I write this? Have you seen the movie Idiocracy?

Haven't seen Idiocracy, but just put it on hold. One of the libraries in our library system has it. It's due on the 30th, then when it's returned, the library that checks it in will send it on to my library. I love this system. Here's a synopsis and other info: Summary Joe Bowers is an average Joe. He is not the sharpest tool in the shed. He becomes part of a government experiment to go into hibernation. The experiment goes awry and Bowers awakens in the year 2505 to find a society so dumbed-down by mass commercialism and mindless TV programming that he's become the smartest guy on the planet. Now it's up to this average Joe to get human evolution back on the right track Credits Director of photography, Tim Suhrstedt ; film editor, David Rennie ; music, Theodore Shapiro ; costume designer, Debra McGuire ; production designer, Darren Gilford Luke Wilson, Maya Randolph, Dax Shepard Originally released as a motion picture in 2006 Special features: 5 deleted scenes DVD, region 1, anamorphic widescreen (1.85:1) presentation; Dolby Digital 5.1 surround, Dolby Digital surround, double-sided, single-layer English (Dolby 5.1) or Spanish (Dolby surround) dialogue, English or Spanish subtitles; closed-captioned MPAA rating: R; for language and sex related humor
