This would be so cool to track down tomorrow night. Was originally planning to look at Sirius and Orion to begin with, but this could be a neat addition.

I think I may have a clear day Wednesday.

I've set up the telescope in anticipation of tomorrow night. Also, it looked like I might have half a chance tonight, but some clouds rolled in.

On the breakdown of today's forecast it looks like the beginning of tonight might be clear here.

According to my forecast, some clouds might try to sneak up about seven p.m. my time, but I hope not. Maybe they'll go hang out somewhere else here on the coast.

I did get a little observing done. Couldn't get the view finder to work, so just turned it off and observed a few stars without it. Unfortunately there was a haze on the horizon which obscured a lot of stars. I was able to look at Sirius and a few more small ones, but couldn't see the star patterns well enough to figure out which they were. At about 6:30, the haze grew to cover most of what what I could see, so I just decided to call it a night and go in before I got too cold. It's about 39 degrees Fahrenheit right now.
