Last night I turned the computer off early and did a little work on my shuttle drawing and worked my way thru my book on how to sketch. I drew a can of beer last night (from a photo in the book). I drew with a mechanical pencil for the first time last nite. The pencil that I drew with was the Pentel Twist-Erase 0.5.

These are a few things I got today. I have several plans for that owl stencil. That 4x6 sketchbook had a roll back price at Walmart for less then $3. I seen the Star Wars cotton swab tins at the dollar store and had to get one. I thought that it was smaller then the Altoids but upon comparing them they are about the same size. I wish they had a BB8 one. My project for tonite is to construct the polymer clay partitions in the tins. I probably wont bake them tonite. I will probably make a pencil board for this sketchbook as well.

I just finished putting the partitions in the Altoids tin. It took most of that clay block and wasn't as easy as one would think. I'll have to get another block of clay before starting the Yoda tin. I was able to create 20 paint wells in the Altoids tin. Maybe tomorrow I will bake it.

I have a ceramic tile and thermometer in the oven and it's heating up. I bought a 24 tube DALER & ROWNEY water color set today to fill it with. I could have gotten other sets but I chose this one because it has a tube of Naples Yellow (That's what Shoo Rayner uses for flesh tone).

Here it is after its been baked. They clay did get solid. I dough that all of the wells are water tight but maybe they don't have to be? Clay shrinks when you bake it. Metal expands and contracts and flexes.

Well, if it isn't water-tight and becomes a problems, you could try again with a fresh tin, following the method in this Instructables article: Altoids Tin Watercolor set

Yes, those use a different technique that looks better and easier.

Does that AP thing on art supplies mean that it is nontoxic?

I had another good idea for a T-shirt design the other day. It's just simple text. Here is what it would be.
GHOSTING ELIPSES
Do you see the logic (or lack of) behind it? I just learned about the punctuation definition and it still looks like it works.
