I was watching Star Trek Mysteries of the Universe this morning and yelling at the TV. They kept saying that old and defunct adage about nothing going faster then the speed of light. I keep running into this all the time. Why do they keep saying that crap and they are scientists they should know better. We have known for some time that there is something faster but they haven't figured it all out yet.

On the History Channel? Well, it's two years old now, too and progress in the field of space travel keeps moving forward and there has been some exciting developments in the field of space travel here lately.
I think that we will get there one day, no matter what the nay-sayers think.
Hmm, this subject has me thinking of a bit from The Tick TV series.

One of the main things they found that goes faster then light is knowledge. They don't quite get how it is conveyed yet. They are almost certainly looking at it wrong from inside their teeny tiny box. It may not be a thing or an event like electricity is but something else. Knowledge has even been found and proven to go back in time. 4thDoctorgrin

Go back in time? Where did you hear about that?

Don't you remember we posted about this long ago? You even did a search and found the guy that did the research. The guy was studying ESP or clairvoyance or something and he discovered that the test subjects that got shown the correct test results in the future consistently scored much higher on the tests.

One of the other things is the spooky distance factor.
