This is different. I wonder how many people have found this to be an ear worm.

I guess some do turn red instead of yellow.

I haven't been keeping up with my pepper as much as I should have. I have been watering them and turning on the light but nut much else. I lost several Guam Boonies and Sweet Pickle Peppers because I didn't pick them when I should have. I did get 5 good Guam Boonies today and bottled them in vinegar. It's a start. There are still several green Guam Boonies on the plants.

Sorry to hear that you lost some peppers, but glad that you still had some for pickling.

If I cut a pepper off of the plant while it is still green will it turn red if I just leave it sit out on a counter?

Well, people use this trick to ripen green bell peppers. It may work on green hot peppers.

So if I want them red I have to leave them on the plant until they turn red.

It's the best way, especially if the in a bag with a ripe banana trick doesn't work.

They started turning red today. My Basket of Fire pepper plant that produced a crop that I then trimmed way back has grown more and just put out more blossoms.

I just harvested the last Guam Boonie pepper from the first crop and put it in the bottle with the others. My Basket of Fire pepper plant has its 2nd crop of peppers on it.

With what has been going on I have really been neglecting my plants. Yesterday I mixed up some fertilizer and last night I put it on them. They grew an amazing amount over night.
