The video above just reminded me of one of the Percy Jackson books, Sea of Monster I think, that also has man-eating sheep in it. Guess I'll have to pick up a copy to figure out if I'm right. I don't know if the author had heard of herbivores turning carnivorous before or not.
As for the first video, I would have had a hard time believing that a deer would eat a bird until I actually saw it.

This is quite fascinating, especially since they are herbivores like other deer. I'm not sure if they'd feel the need to eat other animals such a birds since the males don't grow antlers.

It might be this news story Man Dies Of Rabbit Flu In EnglandOr it might be something else. Don't really have time to look it up this morning. It sounds like we may have another animal-origin flu running around. Hope it doesn't spread like the bird flu does. From what I understand, though, the British are pretty good at dealing with these illnesses. I wouldn't worry too much.
