Not one marked 1975. The only coins minted that year were marked 1776-1976. These were also made in 1976. I'd forgotten this, though and rediscovered these facts after doing a quick search online.

I would think that technically it would be NO but it would create fraud and may be havoc (would it me more so then Canadian pennies do?).

You don't know the Canadian coins I do then, they are nothing but trouble!

Yes, it would be counterfeiting, but it would be interesting to hand them to random people and ask if they can figure out what is wrong with the coin.

It reminds me of the video where they try to get American people to answer certain questions:

As for Canadian coins, you're right, I've never had a job where I had to handle money. Also, making a picture of a 1975 U.S. quarter would be easier and would work just as well if you want to give people that test.
